fDISCLAIMER: Do nothing until you read these instructions first. The responsibility of this installation is entirely in the hands of the purchaser. Only someone with strong mechanical experience should attempt to work on fuel devices such as fuel tanks, fuel pumps or fuel lines. No guarantee or warranty from BrightGreen is given or implied. If you have not opened the package or used the parts enclosed AND you cannot find the right person or shop to install this device, you may send it back for a refund within 30 days. Call first for an RMA number and the correct shipping address. Please insure the package. Do not install the MAX Warmer on cars with carburetors that use a mechanical
fuel pump. Replace the mechanical pump with an electric pump and it should work just fine. Mechanical fuel pumps are spring
operated. The spring may stay down and prevent pumping gasoline. This condition is called vapor lock. Electric pumps do not experience
vapor lock. In older cars, mechanics blocked off the mechanical pumps and ran electric fuel pumps that are more dependable.
Thus it is indeed possible to use a Max Warmer with a carburetor and an electric pump from your local parts store.
